Oh, thank goodness you are here, I am desperate for help. I have organised a special presentation evening at the local leisure centre to give out the prizes from the mountain biking competition we had. I am going to have to give a speech, and keep people interested while I give out the prizes. I also hope that it will get people interested in the business, perhaps so they will try out some of our activities. I will also need to get people interested in the next big race, and get them using our courses for practise beforehand. We want to try and make this a big thing. I just hope you are able to help me convince them, because I am not very good at writing speeches. I wonder if using a presentation would help? Only if it made my speech more exciting.

Jay has organised a special evening to give out the prizes from the mountain biking competition that was held. He is going to give a speech and present the prizes.
Jay has
asked that you write his speech for him. It should cover the following points:
Introduce himself
What is Cwm Bryn Activity Centre?
Describe the events that happened on competition day
Announce the winners for 3rd, 2nd and 1st prize
Describe, then present the star prize
Announce the next big race day
Thank people for listening?
You need to make sure the speech is interesting and exciting, otherwise, people might not want to take part in the next big race.

Jay wants to have a presentation that can be shown when he is giving his speech. Create a blank presentation and create five blank slides

Jay wants to make sure that the presentation looks professional, and that it matches the corporate design ideas that you have already developed.
Choose a suitable Slide Design, and edit the colour scheme to match those you chose earlier.
Here is a Video to help you with using the task pane for slide design and colour schemes.

Jay thinks that the Cwm Bryn logo should appear on every slide. View the slide master and put the logo on the master slides so that it appears on all the slides in the show.
Change the fonts to the ones you decided earlier
Don't forget to close master view when you have finished
The University of Reading website has some useful information about slide masters

Divide Jay’s speech that you have written into five parts. Copy the parts of the speech, so that one part is in the speaker notes area for each slide. Check the spelling of your slideshow

Add notes from the important parts from Jay’s speech onto each slide. Display the information in a suitable way. Add images from the Internet or ClipArt to match the information you have included.

Choose suitable animation for each slide. Screenshot how you did this. Explain why you chose these animations.

Choose suitable slide transitions for each slide. Screenshot how you did this. Explain why you chose these transitions.

Print out
The slides you have produced in handout form
The slides you have produced as notes pages
