Unit 1e - Formal letter writing
Cheers, Liz loves the memo and is using them all the time now. I've been thinking of ways of promoting the business more, I mean, I know the flyer was a big hit, but I want something with a bit more detail. I want to be able to tell people a bit more about what we can offer them and the wide range of music we have available. I think we need some persuasive writing. A letter which we can send out to people who might want to take a look online. Let them know what they are missing out on. You could include some sort of special offer if you think it would help get us more hits on the site. Remember, the important thing is to get them to visit the different areas of the site and to get downloading or ordering CDs and LPs online. |

Prepare a business document
You need to design a blank letterhead. This should use the same fonts, colours, logo, tagline and other design ideas you have used in the other documents so that they look like a professional set.

Write a formal letter aimed at persuading people to visit the i-downloads website. It should include special offers as well as informing them about the different music they sell.
Make sure you use a formal letter layout and correct letter writing rules so that the letter looks professional.
Make sure you spellcheck and proof-read the final version
